Dixie Echoes at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Campground in Madison, Florida

We were here a couple of months ago. It’s only about an hour from our house and right on the Interstate. It has a very nice auditorium for a campground, comfortable seats, and climate controlled.

  • Amber, a local young lady started off singing a couple of songs. She had a nice voice, but I couldn’t understand any of the words because she had her soundtrack and mic up SO LOUD! I looked behind us and over half the people had their ears covered. You’d think she’d get the hint and turn it down…but no.
  • Dixie Echoes were good. They really haven’t had a consistent sound for the past several years because of a lot of group turnover. The only ones that stay are Randy Shelmut Sr. and Jr.(Scoot). This is like their 3rd or 4th bass and 4th or 5th tenor, and 3rd piano player in the last 3 years. We enjoyed them and it worth the hour drive.
