Dixie Echoes & Mark Trammell Quartet at The Lighthouse Children’s Home in Tallahassee, Florida

Dixie Echoes – We were wondering how Stewart Varnado, the pianist could ever be replaced, but while we’ll miss Stewart, Ben Hart has stepped up in style. Heather loved the ‘antics’ of Stewart, but Ben is carrying on ‘the show’. The new bass singer Jordan James, and new tenor Craig Thomas fit nicely in the Dixie Echoes sound.
Mark Trammell Quartet – They have an entirely new sound since making the transition from trio to quartet. We enjoyed them before, but now they are one of the best quartets. They don’t put on a ‘show’, but it was a good ‘concert’.
